800 Harrison

Nicely renovated neo-gothic building in downtown Oakland, at it's birth the home of the short-lived and long forgotten "Hebern Electric Code Company".

The construction, in 1923, was financed not by the profits from the sale of Hebern Rotor Machine (an early [Enigma's] predecessor), but by the sale of company shares, even before any product was shipped.

Nihil Novum sub Sole.
